After we closed our beloved Hout Bay sit down branch in July 2019, we were certain about one thing. We didn’t want to leave the Hout Bay Area completely. We had built up great relationships with our clients there and so decided to open a new chapter…
Thus, Piccolo Posticino was born. A slightly different take on the usual formula. This was a small kitchen with a smaller front desk- we knew we’d have to adapt. Even though we’d only be doing takeaway we remained committed to great service and great food. Two cornerstones of Posti that we will not compromise on.
Over five years later we’re still here slinging pizza and pasta to all our favourite regulars and new customers alike. If you’re ever in the area come say hi!
Bring in the big guns. This is Kamuel, our head chef here in Hout Bay. There is very little this man can’t do in a kitchen- he is super passionate about food and a doting father to his young daughter. We’re so grateful for his leadership and skills in the kitchen! 💚
This absolute superstar is Royce- she has been with us a long time. Royce began her Posti career working in the scullery and over the years she has adapted and taken on new challenges with incredible aptitude. She is now one of our most reliable chefs. A true Swiss Army knife capable of filling almost any role that is asked of her. She is the glue that holds our little kitchen together and we couldn’t be more grateful. 💚

Jethro is a painter by trade and all around one of the handiest men you’re likely to meet. 7 years ago we got very lucky when he decided to put down the paint brush and start crafting true works of art in the form of pizza. The man responsible for assembling each pizza that goes into our oven- he is a true master of his craft. We couldn’t do it without you Jeth! 🍕💚
