Essential to book as it is very popular and no wonder. The food is excellent and the service impeccable. Calamari starter was a meal in itself. The pizzas are huge, I struggled.

"Authentically Italian Pizzeria" The pizza's are really good, Wood fired and truly Italian. Apart from Col'Caccio this is probably the best Pizza in town! We had the Salmon Cream Cheese pizza, wow ...really good! But I also had the Anchovies&Olives previously, all recommendable! The decor can do with an upgrade, but apart from that the food is great!

Consistent pizza and pasta. One of the best pizza/pasta restaurants in Cape Town is how my wife describes this restaurant. We visited early one weekday evening where the tables were not too busy, although plenty of people came in for takeaways. A very friendly waitress showed us to a table, where the food arrived after not-too-long-a-wait.
My wife declared her Butternet Ravioli with Bolognaise absolutely devine - as usual - while my Porchetta Pizza was delicious. Quantities are large and prices reasonable. No wonder this restaurant is so popular that one often cannot get a table on weekends in Summer in particular!

The bar will give you samples and recommend different beers, wines if you are unsure of what to order. The food is appealing to the eye,hot and very very tasteful. The pastas are to die for from the chicken and mushroom lasagna to the Spaghetti Bol.
We have now been their twice, we will return before we fly out, why look an try another restaurant when one ticks all the boxes, would love some of the chefs working for me in my hotel. I wild recommend booking as this place is very popular. The owners/host are very accommodating and nothing is a problem to them.

Service is quick, and the attitude of the staff is accommodating.
The chocolate sauce for the ice cream is so good.
I wish they'd add creme catalana or chocolate fondant to their dessert menu, as that would be the perfect finish to their wholesome menu.

Friendly service. Excellent Pizza! We enjoyed brilliant pizzas from Posticino after being robbed in the city. We did not even have a pair of spectacles to read the menu, but the friendly owner lent us his glasses. We will be back when we venture to visit his city again. Thank you for the excellent service.

Authentic Italian, Delicious food, Huge portion servings! Lots of delicious food in each order, salads are also awesome. I would recommend the lasagna it's really delicious combined with a salad. The ambiance is great - lots of candles, separate rooms to dine in, family feel in the restaurant, its super busy because it has great food, great service, close family feel while dining. Highly recommend this restaurant for dining as couples or family. Great for kids too, we ordered a bow tie pasta with tomato sauce on the side for our 4.5 year old and he loved it.

Pre Argus Dinner. Make sure you make a reservation as this place is really popular. The owner came out to say hi and recognised us from a visit the previous year!. Stick to the basics here and you cannot go wrong and its good value for money. If you do wait for a table they are always pretty spot on with how long its going to be so worth the wait.

Great pizza and prices. Stopped here on the way back from Clifton beach. We both had pizzas which were gorgeous light thin and crispy. I also had chocolate cake desert. Place filled up quickly, great wine list and friendly staff. Asked them to call a taxi and had a long wait but the owner stood and chatted to us. He needed the table but didn't rush us but we freed it up anyway. He waited on the road side with us to make sure we got off ok. Great service and food. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing Pizzas. Posti is a great local Pizzeria, the owners are hands on and staff are friendly. Pet friendly too which is a bonus for us. We usually have their pizzas as they're thin based and have the right amount of toppings. The kitchen is always happy to make adjustments for vegetarians :)

A Posticino can hide another Posticino! We are used clients of Posticino Sea Point where I appreciate the quality of food but also the simplicity of the restaurant and dedication of the boss and his employees... In Hout Bay I find the same, no bad surprise, except that the team is younger! A perfect simple place. Spaghetti Bolognese are a must.

View to die for. We enjoyed our first dinner in Hout Bay at Posticino. It was walking distance from our accommodation. When we arrived we requested a patio table and were directed to a corner table with the best view in the restaurant in my opinion. The service was good, food better and the view was breathtaking. Definitely recommend this restaurant

Can't stay away!! I come to Cape Town once or twice a year and always have a few visits during my trips to this great restaurant. Samuele & Matteo are wonderful hosts and fun guys. The food is excellent & the standards are maintained year on year. In the past when I have visited with my Mother who is nearly 90 & very infirm, the staff was wonderful in helping her get seated and to enjoy the restaurant.

Walked in to this place with no booking last night. The restaurant was full, there for I expected the typical Cape Town response of "we're fully booked". Got the exact opposite- a warm welcome from the owner and an invite to the bar while they found arrangements for us. Long story short, excellent service with even better. If you like a warm welcome with excellent service and truly good food, you'll most likely enjoy this spot.
